So for spring break I decided to head out on a solo backpacking trip to Big Bend National Park. I wanted a little bit of a challenge, and I definitely found it on the route I took. I was on the trail for 3 days and covered about 30 miles of mountains, desert grasslands, and everything in between. The days were long and tiring, but I passed through incredibly beautiful country the likes of which I had never before seen in Texas. Overall, the experience was well worth the sore feet, the aching shoulders, and the sunburned skin.

Below are the links to the pictures I took for each day. I was by myself so all I ended up with were landscapes.

Here is a map of the trail I took. It may look small in the picture, but that red line is 30 miles long and goes up AND down about 3000 ft in elevation.
